So you or a family member have been told that you have diabetes, and you are stuck with it for life.  There is natural healing for Diabetes, and you don’t have to just manage it.

It will require some efforts on your part, but you have the options to make changes in your life that will significantly reduce your need for insulin, or stop it completely.  Better yet, never start it!

What You Eat

Contrary to popular opinion, what you eat has everything to do with natural healing for Diabetes.

Some doctor’s will tell you differently, but you have to keep in mind that they only get about six hours of nutritional training.😮

If your main staple choices are coming from processed foods out of boxes, bags, cans or fast food, this would be the first place to start making changes.

These foods do nothing more than pack on the pounds, which by the way, is the beginning of why Diabetes gets a hold on you.

Don’t let food rule you, you’re stronger than that.

This is not to say that you have to change everything at once.  If you did, you would just become miserable and give up.

Make small changes everyday, or even a couple of times a week, and build up to making changes everyday.

If you give in to the old ways, don’t beat yourself up.  Dust yourself off and start over.

Fasting But Eating

What an amazing concept!

It’s called the Fasting Mimicking Diet, and what it can do for you is get you fast tracked to a healthier way of eating and losing weight.

This is a great option for someone that doesn’t have time to figure it out on their own.

Intermittent Fasting

A fasting conversation would not be complete without a discussion about intermittent fasting.

Do not underestimate the power of intermittent fasting because so many wonderful things take place when you make this type of fasting a part of natural healing for Diabetes, but not just Diabetes, all disfunctions in the body and mind.

It is very important that you proceed with the help of a health practitioner.

There are a few ways of intermittent fasting, but the main idea is to eat during an 8 hour time frame, and fast the rest of the time.  This does Not mean you can eat whatever you want, and you’re good – No, you still need to eat healthy, nutrient dense, foods.  Pick an 8 hour window that works best for you.

Laughter

Everyone likes to laugh, right?  Well, now you have a reason to seek more laughter in your life.🤣😂

In a study posted on Psychology Today (Fight Diabetes with Sweet Laughter), it was found that laughter decreases glucose levels.

That’s great news, since we all like to laugh!

Did you know, a sedentary lifestyle (lack of movement) is another win for Diabetes to get a hold on you?

If you’re spending most of your time in a chair, you are not only asking for health problems, but you are telling your bones and muscles that you don’t really have a need for them either.

Find an activity that you love to do because you will stick with it when it’s something you enjoy.

Good Sleep Is Essential

Did you know that when you get a good nights sleep, you are not just sleeping for sleeping’s sake, but you are rejuvenating your body.

While you are in a deep sleep, your brain does housecleaning, and if you’ve learned something new, your brain is working on the information to help you remember what you’ve learned.

Your body also goes into a state of cleanup, and
it’s a time of healing your mind, body and spirit.

All of your organs need rest too; so for the best healing, it is best Not to eat after 7 pm.

The less food you put into your body in the evening, the easier the job will be for your body to heal.
